"Soul Killer 2" has not yet fully recovered and is being realized steadily
"Soul Slayer 2" has not yet fully recouped its costs and is still making steady progress towards this goal.
Remedy, the fastest-selling survival horror game of all time, has recouped "most" of its development and marketing costs, but has yet to fully recoup them.
In its most recent quarterly earnings report, Remedy highlighted "Night Spring Town", the first expansion pack for "Soul Killer 2", and the upcoming physical version. The report pointed out that the sequel game has recouped most of its development and marketing expenses, suggesting that the game is steadily moving towards its goal of recouping costs.
The report also mentions that the media reviews and fan feedback for the "Night Spring Town" DLC have been very positive. The physical version Deluxe Edition has been released in October, and the Collector's Edition will be released in December. With the introduction of these additional content, the profitability of "Mind Killer 2" may further improve, eventually achieving the goal of recouping costs.
